Mommy/Daughter Weekend Get Away

Why did Lilly and I get to do this,
And this,

And this?

Because of this!

We finally got our floors done!

Pigtails!

I have waited forever to do this to Lilly' hair!  Probably since the day we found out she was a she!

I think she may have loved them more than me...

15 months

You are 15 months old today and you are spending your milestone in bed with a high temp!  We aren't sure what is going on.  It could be your ears or a viral called Hand, Foot & Mouth (since your buddy Nash just got diagnosed with this then you probably have it too).  We are scheduled for the doctor at 4 so no assumptions until then.  I will just sit here and update your blog, work from home and watch you sleep a mere two steps from me.

Other than that hoopla - you are BUSY!  You love to read books, shut doors and play outside.  You eat like a champ and now you have 6 teeth to help you really bite into things.  Although sometimes that is my shoulder and really, that is just not cool.

I have noticed lately that you like to "help" me do things around the house.  You will put your books back in the basket and sometimes you will put a toy back in your box.  I have to hurry when I unload the dishwasher so that you do not get to the silverware before me.  It might be time to teach you how to dust and mop...haha!

I also need to mention that we finally know a couple of body parts.  Lilly now knows where her belly button is.  She also knows where your "eye" is but doesn't know that she has them also.  Too funny!

And last, ask her what the doggy says and she will say woof.  Ask her what any other animal says and apparantly they say woof too!

Until we feel better, that's all for now.

Sad baby!
